Posts
We, the Paper Playful team of "volunteers", would like to remind everyone that these posts are brought to you in our precious "spare" time.
Many of us have full time jobs & families but willingly give up what little time we have left in our day to bring you updated lists of challenges.
We cannot guarantee to have them done by a specific time of day as life often gets in the way. The challenges we list for you also update at different times of the day.
Thanks
The VOLUNTEERS of Paper Playful

smart move, I can see you are so busy here and if someone played with a challenge they should be able to check out if they won on their own...sharing the challenges is the most important part! thanks so much for all you do!!

So sorry to hear that. I know many crafters will be disappointed, as they rely on you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great summer!
Of course, this is a disappointment, but understandable. I have benefited from your site and am so grateful for the volunteers who keep it going. I regret that I have not been able to contribute - my computer skills are just not up to what would be expected. A big thank you to all of the volunteers!
ReplyDeleteso sorry that you are so short staff... love you guys! and thank you for all your hard work!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much we really appreciate all you do for all of us.
DeleteAs a DT member on several teams, I know that without a Winner's List a higher percentage of our prizes go unclaimed. I'll be disappointed to see this change. :-D
ReplyDeletei think that's a really smart way to prioritize! you guys are AWESOME & i don't think ppl realize how much *WORK* is involved in all of this, that you all do as volunteers! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteCompletely understand!!! Many thanks for keeping up with listing the Challenges - MUCH appreciated!
ReplyDeletethanks for your hard work!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, but I understand.
ReplyDeleteThere is of course a lot of time in it
Thanks girls for everything!!
Have to agree with Golden Goddess..sharing the challenges is much more important to me anyways. Sorry you are short staffed but you do a fabulous job and as a newbie to blogging and challenges you are a Godsend. Thank you! x
ReplyDeleteSorry you are short staffed and "thank you" to the volunteers who provide this great service. I usually check the challenge sites I enter for winner postings myself...but I am happy that you will still be running the current challenges list...it is very helpful!
ReplyDeleteI was a past volunteer, and know how much time it takes for these posts. Your time is so appreciated : )
ReplyDeleteThank you for all that you do! x
ReplyDeleteI run 4 challenge blogs and feel, if participants want to know if they won, they should return to the relevant blogs to find out. I greatly respect the work you girls carry out, it is invaluable to players and blog organisers. Keep up the good work. Caz
ReplyDeleteAs one who has a challenge blog, I appreciate the time you take to list what is happening currently for those who are looking for a quick re-cap of challenges. I agree with cutting back the hours you already spend by removing the winners listings. I can say from the heart that I am thankful for what you are doing here and I think this is an awesome blog full of great information for everyone :)

Thank you for all you do. I think deleting the winner's post is a good idea. It is a tough job to keep up with and y'all have done and continue to do a tremendous job. Thanks, again.
ReplyDeleteI really am sorry that you are short-staffed and would love to help you if I had the time and better health. However you all do such a fantastic job and on a personal level I feel that the fact you point us all in the direction of the challenges is much more important than showing the winners. I, for one, always check the challenges I've entered via their blog. If not publishing the winners saves you all time then go for it peeps! Thank you all so much again for doing an amazing job!! Hugs to you all Sue Pxxx
ReplyDeleteThank you for all you do. Enjoy your vacations.
ReplyDeleteIt is very understandable. Blogging alone takes so much time already, can't even imagine the amount of work it must be for your team to visit each blog to create the winners list. Thank you for all you do!
ReplyDeleteI so appreciate all you do-thank you for all your hard work!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for all your hard work and hours! I appreciate all you do. Although I love seeing the winners posted, you must do what you have time to do...and listing the challenges is most important. Thank you, again!

Totally agree with your decision. Through you I've managed to find new challenges that I wouldn't otherwise have done. I think that if someone takes part in a challenge then it should be no hardship for them to revisit that blog and check if they are a winner and not rely on others to do it for them.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the time and hard work you put into this - it really is appreciated xx
I think we can't imagine how much work you're doing!
ReplyDeleteI only visit your blog looking for sketches, if I play a challenge, as follower, I look at the challengeblog.
Thanks for all your work on this usefull blog!

Your blog is one I visit often and I appreciate your work. I don't know how you all do it. I feel the listing of the challenges is more important than the winner posts.
ReplyDeleteAgain Thank you for this blog.
Totally understand being a blog owner and very appreciated of all the hard work that is involved by everyone. Thanks so much and keep up the great work.

I agree with the others, what you do is amazing and I am so grateful for your posts and the time that you spend putting them together. Your blog is my first stop every Saturday when I sit down the craft. I agree with the others posters who have said that the winners can check the posts at the where they have entered challenges to see if they won. But am thrilled that you are keeping the list of new challenges going. Big thanks to all of you.

I know, myself, how much work goes on behind the scenes on a challenge blog and I'm sure its very much the same for yourselves. So I completely understand this decision and thank you for the what you do...people should be perfectly capable of checking their challenge entries themselves
ReplyDeleteGood move! We can visit the challenges we enter to find out if we are a winner - enjoy your time off! Your work has not gone UN-noticed! You all do fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAs someone who runs a challenge blog, I think that entrants should go back to check if they have won, rather than relying on you; and whilst they are there they might like to refresh the rules. It wouldn't hurt them to actually read the blog posts before entering too. I am sadly no longer surprised to discover that a good third of all entrants clearly saw the title and just added their creation without ever reading what the challenge is actually about.
ReplyDeleteDitto what everyone else said - thank you for all that you do!
